Lexington also has a tax-supported park district that includes 24 acres of green space including: two large heated pools, two lighted tennis courts, an athletic field complete with baseball diamonds, softball fields, basketball courts, soccer fields, a modern playground, volleyball pit, large picnic shelters, the Patton Cabin and a walking trail.
